Automatic generation of shipping lines

The system automatically creates shipping lines based on the products contained in the supported documents. These lines contain detailed information on:

Products to be delivered,
Delivery addresses,
Quantities,
Total tonnage and the percentage of products to be transported relative to the entire shipment.

Route optimization using Google Maps API

Route generation

The application automatically generates a route based on delivery addresses.

The route is created taking into account the order of the places visited, but the user has the option to edit the order of the points in order to optimize the route.

Integration with Google Maps API allows:

Automatically retrieve the distance in kilometers between waypoints,
Calculating the time required to drive from point A to point B,
Dynamic consideration of current road conditions and traffic volume.

Route editing and optimization

The user has full control over route editing – he can manually change the order of visited points to get the most optimal route.
The system automatically recalculates distances and travel time after each change in the route schedule.

Data validation

The application has data validation, which checks that all the necessary information for route calculation has been entered into the system.Validation includes:

Correctness of delivery addresses,
Completeness of product data (e.g. weight),
Completion of the data necessary for the calculation of transport costs (rates per km / hour and entered distances and time between delivery points).

If the required data is missing, the application generates appropriate messages, indicating to the user which fields need to be completed.

Logistics calculations

Calculation of tonnage and value of transported products

The application when creating a shipping line automatically:

Calculates the total tonnage of transported products,
Calculates the percentage value of each product relative to the entire shipment, which allows for better cargo control and more efficient transport planning.

Transport cost simulation

The application allows you to simulate transportation costs in two ways:

On the basis of kilometers traveled – the user enters the rate per kilometer, and the system automatically calculates the estimated cost based on data downloaded from Google Maps API.
Based on travel time – the user specifies a rate per hour of travel, and the application calculates the cost based on the travel time between waypoints.

Allocating costs between orders

The system automatically distributes the percentage of transportation costs between orders, taking into account the weight of the products being transported.

Generating reports for the driver

The application has the function of generating a PDF document in A4 format for the driver. The document includes:

Route description with the order of delivery points,
Delivery addresses,
Calculated transportation costs.

The PDF report is easy to read and contains all the necessary information for the driver to efficiently and effectively make the delivery according to the planned route.
